One of the marvels of my childhood was spent spending countless hours spotting aircraft landing and taking off. I truly believe that I owe it to early years of airline spotting for my enormous passion and boundless love to my aviation career today.

It was around 1991 where I officially initiated in the industry at the Mexico City Benito Juarez  International Airport. I studied for about 3 years and offering my volunteer services and practice internship at MMMX as an operations agent  for the Mexican Government In 1994 for unforeseen reasons I returned to Southern California my birthplace and scrambled to continue working in the same field as in Mexico City.

My number one goal was to finally kick off my flying career and at some point become the commercial pilot I’ve longed to be.Three years later around 1997 I found myself at Long Beach Airport (KLGB), I did my first training flights in a single engine aircraft it was Grumman AA5-Traveler.

Unfortunately my funds ran short and had to cut my flight training for some time, so I went back to providing customer service for various airlines at Los Angeles International(KLAX). I needed somehow to make it work and make more money striving for that ultimate goal of becoming that commercial pilot. My time at LAX I can say I’ve worked through all the ranks and positions available for me. I went from being a customer service agent, supervisor and general manager.

It’s now the year the year 2000 and had made it back to flight training this time it was on a C172M at El Monte Airport (KEMT). It was at this airport where I finally was able to solo and spread my wings over the SoCal airspace .The terror attacks of September 11, 2001 came to test our country and more than ever our aviation family, so once again I stalled my training and 9 years went with out stepping into any single engine aircraft. It wasn’t until 2010 when I came back to make this a final attempt at flight training and sure enough I received my private pilots license in 2012 training in C172SP. I kept pushing and in 2018 I get my commercial rating from a Piper PA28-151, 2019 gets much better with the arrival of my Certified Flight instructor rating. On my time off I get off to the airfield and give instruction to my students around our congested SoCal Airspace.

When not at El Monte Airport I’m flying as Capitan full time in corporate a majestic Hawker Jet's and Gulfstream (G-IVSP)(G-IV) Throughout my entire training I can say that I’ve had the opportunities of being checked out in several single engines like Cessna, Piper, Bonanza, Mooney, Diamond and Cirrus. I passionately enjoy every charter or corporate flight, which  has allowed me to venture off to distant lands and capture life, people , flavors, sunsets and sunrises and above all live my childhood dream ...being a pilot !
